yeah well its gonna be a lot more expersive to update your PC every year.. I mean you got 6gigs of ram right.. If so then a 1-2Gig video card is a must for your sake, otherwise you dont need the 6 gigs of ram anyways..

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
System Manufacturer: MSI
System Model: MS-7673
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 8174MB RAM
Page File: 2164MB used, 14183MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti

I bought all the parts and someone put it together for me for a total cost of around the £800 mark... not entirely sure what that would be in dollars etc but it really isn't alot of money for what I got, compared to some "off the shelf" PC's with less spec but coming in around the £2000 mark!
Think i did well, first ever custom build PC and have definately learned that is always the best way to do it!
I run all Arma, PR etc on max with ease... but... the big test will be BF3...if it runs that perfectly, I shall be a happy man.... smile

im really not a fan of NVIDIA.. Always problems with their cards... ATI is cheaper and if they should ever break, then its easy to fix.. Like lego lolz.. Well atleast for us computer "geeks" xD

well if you have 6 gigs of ram, use them for something.. otherwise theres no point in having more than 3 if you dont have a good CPU and Video card.. Thats the most important facts of computers..

*To have a good video card.
*To have a good CPU
*To Have 4+ Ram

True that depends though...

Win XP no matter what bit you got only runs a maximum of 2 gigs of ram on each program.. This file can be configured though xD

I want to make someone laugh, so I'll put up my specs.

Model: Inspiron 531
Processor: AMD Sempron Processor LE-1250 2.20 GHz
Memory (RAM): 2.00 GB
OP: Windows Vista 32-bit

I don't even know what the Motherboard is on this junker. I am a complete noob when it comes to computers, but even I can tell this thing is not meant to run anything good past Microsoft Word xD.
