| South mate, in response to that... Life is what you make it, people will put you down in every aspect of life... part of growing up is recognising this and rising above it... confronting your fears and dealing with them, not running from them... i am unaware of what has happened between you and finest due to the stresses of moving house, i'm sure i will be informed but whatever it is cannot be that bad... this appears to be a lack of understanding.... If you feel people are putting you down, ask them calmly why this is and find the root of the problem, only then will you find the solution. finest is a reasonable guy, and take age out of the equation because age is just a number (unless we're talking about a defendants story in a paedophilia court case!) If finest doesn't like something about you he will tell you, that is for two reasons... one because he is the leader of USF and has the right.... two because he speaks his mind... Speaking your mind is a good thing to have in life, it gets you answers... people who bottle things up eventually do two things.... snap... or run.... I hate to see you do either of these as it's apparent that you have some issues in life that need dealing with... we are not here to provide people with counselling but to provide people with an enjoyable gaming experience... If you have not received this i'd suggest you take notes of the things that have upset you and confront them, in a polite manner.... tell the person you have issues with what is the problem and explain that you have not taken kindly to this, and try to come to an agreement where this doesn't happen again.... remember honesty in life will get you very far....
As i said before I am unaware of the problems between yourself and finest because i have only had the time to put a little effort into the forums lately so I am only writing this to hopefully help you in some way. Life is too short for negative feelings, always try and find the positives and you will be fine mate. I am 25 years old, like i said age isn't an issue, but i have had enough time on this planet to go through some "dark" times and i've always got myself out of it in some way. People have let me down in life, but I have always confronted my problems head on. It's important to remember that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel and if you have no friends like you say, there is more than enough time to find some. It only takes a little confidence to start a conversation with some strangers and before you know it you'll find a good group of friends and a weight will be lifted off your shoulders. Family will not always get you through tough times trust me, I don't know your age but if/when your old enough, hit the local bar, get a drink, wind down and make some general conversation with some locals.... you'll find it easy in no time! Although USF members get along well, we cannot consider ourselves true friends because no matter what, it's the ones close that count.... If you consider online buddies as true friends, one power cut can take them all away!!
Hope you read this dude and consider your future... Just me putting the effort in to write this quick message shows humans from thousands of miles away care about other humans! so finding someone near you who cares will not be hard trust me...
Find a hobby you like (non computer based) and keep doing it... you will meet people with the same interests and things will naturally move on from there....
Keep your chin up, chest out and take a deep breath and say "FUCK IT!" << great strategy!
Signed: Mikey the peacekeeper! Over and out

| Thank you for the responce Mikey
You know Finest wasnt really that bad. Maybe Im just too sensetive I dont know. But what I do know is how it made me feel.
I am 27 and have a little bit of life experience. Im sure you can appreciate that these days (aspecially in the state that the economy is in) that its hard to find a good job and pay you own way.
I appreciate that he is honest and upfront but to be frank, its cruel aspecially if you are new to this , as I am. Maybe if I have a bit more experience with the game and manage to find a job I can upgrade my system. I could tell that this would become an issue because it causes frustration for everyone and I just dont want to add to that.
I really dont mean for it to be personal. And he does sound like a really nice guy. You all do! javascript:// Also thank you for the advice. I do have a hobby and its what keeps me sane.!!! Music and playing PC or console games. Ive been going through some tough changes and adjusting to life in Spain (Catalunya). The people are not very open but thats not your fault hahaah... Dont worry about that tho. Ive always been a lonewalker and probs always will be.
I feel absolutely shite and like Ive let USF down simply because I dont have the resources for a decent system. And I know thats no ones fault. Sorry about that.
About confronting my fears - no offence meant!!!!! but you have no idea what I have to face on a daily basis. These last two weeks have been like heaven cause I felt human again. Integrated and part of something. Ive been looking forward , so so much playing wity you guys because your organised and very mature. But getting on the server and hearing remarks hurt more profoundly than I thought it would. And also I felt really bad for that kid that got demoted, I think he made an honest mistake and it was a bit harsh - and considdering that he donates to the cause Id say ihe could have got away with a warning.
But you are right. The leader is the leader and what he says goes. I just dont want to stick around to bear the brunt for a silly mistake. Cause Im sure (even if he denies it) , it did have some psycological effect on him.
******please note that I dont intent for any one to take offence************Its just how I feel about it.
Mikey - thank you so much for being understanding. You have no idea what it means to me that you actually care and gave advice. Im regretting it already but have a feeling its for the best because Im worried it would upset my life more than it already is.
(ps lol - I feel like im braking up with a gf or someting hahahahaha ) emmotional shite hahahaha
keep it real guys

| Quote (|USF|South69) I really dont mean for it to be personal. And he does sound like a really nice guy. You all do!
In my defence though South..
I have been running this clan for 3 years now. And the clan is now finaly what we've been working for. Therefore we will seem strict.
Though The reason why you dont see my as a "nice guy" is (what i believe) Cause you dont really know me at all. You've just joined the clan. But please you must understand the fact that if the leadership just go all chilly on people the clan will end up being verything else but military realism. I guess some people are all in for military simulation and some aint. You just happened to be on the otherside of the barrier. Leaving due to real life activitys its alright. As life comes in first row.
But inQuote (|USF|South69) I felt really bad for that kid that got demoted Pipshag was demoted for not paying attention to the clan in general he gave you false information. Saying this: When playing on other servers than [USF] Servers, do not wear tags.. What he was saying basicly was that you should not wear the [USF] Tags on other servers, this is wrong as you are a member of our "unit/clan" and repesent us.
I Know that I have pushed you to the very limit. However I did not know you took everything personaly, If you would have told me this before we wont have this issue. I feel sad that your leaving, and this is one of the reasons. Cause all in all I guess it was me and you who didnt spend enough time talking together.
But as i usually tell my members. "In the end of the day, we are here to have fun, to play as the best, and to support each other at all times" Now as I didnt know about you taking it personaly, then I'd be going more easy on you. But you do seem like a fast learner I'll give you that. And that I hope you'll consider a rejoin after some thinking and reconsideration.
Wish you the best luck in the future!
The [USF] Leader.

| No hard feelings and I feel like a real Dick. Think I should have done this another way. Regret always comes to late they say !!!
ny way..
Hope you can forgive my hasty actions and I look forward to hearing from you guys again soon. + I respect what you do and how far you have come.
If I dont feel too sensitvie (lol) I might join the server again if I am still welcome of course but think Id like to stick to infantry even if it means I dont get promoted. At least till I get better at PR. I havent tried out all the vechicles yet and therefor am not too familiar with their setup and what they can and cant do. I also dont expect you to spend time talking to me - you have a life too and must be pretty buisy dealing with all this shit + getting an education. Not to mention spending time with family and friends and seeing the sun. hahahha...
I will spend some more time in a practice server somewhere so I can play around with some stuff and get used to aiming and estimating distances. I despise it when I let other peeps down and its even worse when team mates die or assets are lost because of my noobness hahaha
Either way, I thank you for your time and praise you for the work.
Leave no man behind! USF Hurrrrraaahhhh

| No problem atall South, The best place to learn is in a LAN server.... Hit deployment or Co-op, and hit create local.... this way you don't have to worry about damaging vehicles whilst learning...
I am more than happy to go through some things with you on our Co-op server to give you an advantage on things... Just let me know when you're expecting to be on and we'll work something out.
Speak soon mate. Mikey

The whole reason why we push you this hard is cause, if we didnt you would never like deployment.. Deployment gets very hazy from time to time, and you need to be fast and dead on all the time. Again we train our members to be the best, hope you understand

| Glad you've reconsidered mate, we all know what it was like when we first discovered PR, it blew my mind... i hadn't even played BF2, just bought BF2 when i heard about PR.... took me weeks to suss it all out, even then i only knew the basics.... just enough to receive fire and run and stay alive! like a rabbit caught in the headlights lol... That was hard enough, but actually joining a clan as a "newbie" i can imagine is much harder, all these expectations and you don't even know where your team are! lol look forward to working with you south...we'll make a soldier out of you yet!
cya soon. Mikey

| South mate, why not join our training session tomorrow at 19.00 GMT+1.... we'll go through mortars... should be nice and easy to do with or without connection issues... (very little running involved!) Let me or finest know ASAP on the "Training Sign ups" thread if you can or cannot make it so we can get a good idea of the numbers.
Also, why not put an application in for Bravo platoon (its near the bottom of the forum lists). Apply for Squad 1 as squad 2 is full. we'll get you trained up good and proper!
Over and out.

He can not see this topic. It is hidden for him as he is no longer a member. But I do agree, you should reconsider your actions South really
Its a shame to watch people walk just like that

| Yeah sure if youll still have me of course.
I dont mind the running hahah... You can post me any where you like and Ill do my best and try harder ontop of that. Mortar is good 4 me also spotting for the mortar team. And if you still need me on armor support I dont mind that either. I just need practice aiming, once I have clocked a couple of hours in there im sure ill be the best youve ever had hahaha.. connection issues and all! The biggest no no would be putting me in as a pilot because its a sure thing that Ill crash. Not cause im a shitty pilot, but because of those connection probs I have. Playing gunny for the helo's would be ok. other than that, no issues here guys.
Thank you again for you patience understanding and the compassion. I really appreciate it!
Should i sign up again ?
ps: Im alone all day Saturday so yes Ill be free and at your disposal. Im so sorry I wasnt on Friday night. Been buisy with my wife and daughter. She is only 8 moths old and starting to teeth so I have to relief my wife so she can get some rest too.
Hurrah!!! LNMB!!!
